    canondale T-400

    how is the canondale T-400 as a touring bike?

    Strong, reliable, with a good and long repuation, esp good for larger riders.

    hmmm i'm 6'2 so i guess that could classify as a larger rider, although i'm about as big around as a bic pen. Thanks again for your help.

    The cannondale is a good touring bike, and the trek520 is too. I narrowed it down to these two when I got mine, and then rode them. I liked the trek better, but other people would like the dale. My advice is to ride both (and maybe some others), before you decide and see which ones you prefere.
