Touring on 2010 Specialized Secteur Sport?

I'm planning to do along the Northern California coastline next summer, around 800 miles. Is the Secteur a suitable bike for touring? I will be carrying my stuff with a BOB trailer.

That's a road bike, right? Does it even have the necessary mounting points for racks etc?

A similar, but much more suitable bike is the Tricross Sport, which is really designed for this kind of thing - lots of mounting points, wide tyres etc. The 2009 and previous models had gearing more suitable for touring.
