Renting in Italy

Five of us are going to Italy for 2 weeks of riding. I have a Trek 520 and a BOB but my friends do not. I'm wondering if anyone has some good advice on renting out there. I think it may be cheaper and easier than bringing my bike. It costs $110 each way on US Air. I have found one website that rents but it looks more like day trip bikes.

Little help?...ANYONE?
