Gulf Coast routes?
I grew up in the Houston area and when we return to the US we'll likely resettle in that area. Although I've spent most of life near the Gulf Coast, I've never done a bike tour there. I'm interested to know where you've traveled down there. What routes did you travel? What should we avoid at all costs? Any particular "must see". SInce I'm an educator, we'll be looking at summer or Christmas vacation times, and weekend trips. Thanks in advance for the help.
