It's funny - I was really nervous about this interview! I am never nervous about being interviewed in Spanish, we was scared for this one in English! I think it has to do with the fact that, although I am quite fluent in Spanish, everybody expects me to mess up since it is a second language. In English, I was afraid everyone would expect me to speak eloquently - and that's not me!

Wow, Awesome job Nancy. Touring is one of the best experiences in a cyclists lifetime I believe. Doing it with the family for that long and far is quite amazing. Keep up the pedaling and I can only imagine what your children will accomplish with their children when the time is right! Once again, incredible job Nancy!

You did fine. "only" 5 K left.... I have a hard time getting my family to cycle 30 miles. Keep it up and I am sure that NY helped recharge your batteries.

That was a great interview! Thanks to Chuck Scarborough for keeping the questions interesting and relevant. I thought he did a nice job of focusing on the family aspect of the extraordinary trip. Nancy, you looked perfectly at ease. Who cares whether that was the reality. It's not easy to fairly describe such an adventure in less than five minutes and you did it very well.

I thought the interviewer did a nice job of not asking stupid questions.. these days that can be hard to find.
You did a really well. Safe flight back to the family.

+100. Cycling that far is a huge accomplishment but as any parent knows, doing it with your young family is truly remarkable.
PS, thanks to your blog our family went to Honduras/Utila this last spring and had a fantastic time. Being on the road down there thinking your family rode through there from Alaska was humbling and inspiring all at once. Have a great time through the rest of SA.
