Cannondale T400 fork crown race size 27.0 or 26.4?
I have an old cannondale t400 and I need to replace the headset, id rather not disassemble my bike to find out, but If i don't find the size soon I might have to.
So basically I need to order a new headset, its a 1" threaded fork, but I don't know if cannondale used ISO or JIS sizing for their fork crown race.
27.0 or 26.4mm?
Thanks

You might try posting this in C&V. Some vintage C'dale experts there.

I just changed out the headset in my 94 T700 due to indexing of the old headset. I used the 26.4 mm Tange Falcon FL250C model with sealed bearings. The stack height was just right. I used a homemade headset press and just removed the old headset and crown race using a tap and a hammer. To press in the crown race, I used a PVC tube and hammered on the tube to get it to go in.
Hope this helps.
