Help finding Silver Trekking Handlebar

I've made the decision to buy a black Surly LHT. When I told the guy at the bike shop that I wanted to put trekking handlebars on it with thumb shifters he said it would be no problem doing it except he had no idea where to find a trekking bar so I guess it's up to me to find one.I have seen a few black ones on line but I really would prefer a silver one on a black bike.Would anyone reading this post know of a place that might have a silver one for sale? Also I was wondering how expensive it might be to buy one from somewhere in Europe and have it shipped here.I hear they are pretty common over there. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yup. I got the black one though. I gotta say this is an excellent trekking bar, I like it a lot. I paid around $60 shipped. The shape and angles are a bit different than other butterfly bars sold in USA. I'm not sure about the Nashbar one though.

It looks from the picture that the Kalloy bar sold by Wallbike has similar angles though.

FYI, I used Nashbar gel pads, lots of them and Salsa cork tape, it's incredibly comfortable.

dclifton, I purchased the black nashbar ones about 6 years ago and put them on a mtb. I didn't like them so they have been sitting unused ever since. I would be happy to give them to you for free if you want them. You pay shipping.

I got a black one from a fellow BFer last week, but had been looking for places to buy a trekking bar before that. Not sure if and when it will come back in stock, but there is this one. They've been out of stock at least a week, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Harris Cyclery (of Sheldon Brown fame) had some online, too, but I think they're out and not expecting any more until July. Sorry that doesn't help you too much...
