Looks like a fine touring bike imo

I know nothing about the Weinmann rims, or Kenda Kwest tires however...

My DH bought one in Feb. Here is a link to my original post question about the bike:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...&highlight=KHS

And here is a link to DH's initial input on the bike:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...&highlight=KHS

I noticed he never gave his 50+ mile input, so I'll give you my impression here. He has loved this bike! It has gone on several 20-30 mile errand runs into the next town and has towed over 100 lbs with no problem. We got panniers for the bike in April and those have come in very handy for smaller jobs. In all, the KHS TR-101 has been worth every penny and then some. He bought it stock, no changes to gearing or components. The only thing we've changed out post-purchase was the saddle, and that's because he took my men's saddle (off my Tricross) and I took the TR-101's wider touring saddle (the switch was my request).

I hope this helps - at least a little!
