My Surly LHT with the BoB Yak 28
This is my Surly LHT with the BoB Yak 28 on it. It tracks very well easy going up most of the hills around here.But going down them you can get way to fast you have to watch out.

That is one loaded LHT...
Take it easy our there with that trailer... I've been following (online) Janeen as she does the TA to raise money for Livestrong and she started in May and fell on a downhill with a Bob trailer due to that very same thing... she just restarted trip 1st of Aug. she does not have an LHT.... just for the record

I met a man in a campsite this past summer who had a full set of panniers and a Burley Nomad trailer. Couldn't imagine what he was carrying. Then he pulled out a full sized roll of paper towels.
I hope you have a good granny gear for going up hills, and good brakes for coming down.

I'm doing the same thing with a LHT and a bob trailer. I am going to throw a few big things like the sleeping bag on the rear rack and everything else in the trailer. I don't know why you need that much space. First thing I thought when I saw that was.... holy moly that must be hard to pedal.
and by the way, the bob trailer only cat tails at high speeds when you pack it wrong. If the weight inside is evenly distributed and not off balance, it should be fine. Bob's can rocket downhill since it drafts behind you and pushes you down
