2010 Novara Safara Rack and Fender

I just purchased and Novara Safari for and trip across the US in a few years and was wondering what would be the best setup for front and rear fender/rack setup?

Different people have different opinions. My preference is front and rear racks and panniers. I like Tubus racks and Ortlieb Classic Roller panniers. I also like the Jandd Extreme front rack, because it has a platform. Balance the load front and rear, with denser objects (stove, mess kit, tools) in front.

That's my quick two cents.

Look at the Jandd "Expedition" rear rack and fenders from Planet Bike

I've had good luck with the Blackburn Expedition rear rack and Ortlieb Classic back rollers. As for fenders, get them wider than the minimum to cover your tires. Any brand of the plastic fenders with metal stays that bolt to your frame will do.
