well, this might be the shortest trip video posted to bike forums touring forum but wanted to share a highlight if anyone is riding thru San Francisco.

this is a side trip to the top of Mount Davidson, the highest point in the city of San Francisco and a chance to do a little two track dirt riding in the city limits. you can link this easily to the longest uninterrupted descent in the city down O'shaughnessy. the photo of the rider in the distance is descending O'shaughnessy.

Atop the hill there is a cross erected in the 1930s as a monument to the victims of the Armenian genocide.

My bike mounted camera was acting up this trip so I got no good video footage of the Marin Headlands, and the old highway 1 ride south of town over to Montera, but i did get this handheld footage.

Admittedly not a video grand in scope but a worthy ride nonetheless and one I wanted to share.

The cross on Mt. Davidson is in a famous scene in Dirty Harry when Eastwood's character first meets the killer, Scorpio, stabs him with a hidden knife, and then you get the famous scream.

I did a running race up and down Mt. Davidson a long, long time ago. Just about blew out my knee.
