I do. I've attached an Arkel t-42 on the spine for day trips. Recently I've been playing with a canvas military pannier for light tours/trips. I've spent a few weeks planning, plotting and designing my own spine bags as well. Wanting to sew them myself, out of recycled tubes. Still gathering materials for that though . It's a Kennedy penny.

Solid rubber "tire" @ 48'' (for my ride). Collectors and advocates (of early cycling) generally is where to find new rubber.

'09 Specialized Tricross Sport. Changed the 30t to a 26t. Bike plus gear weighed in at 100 lbs.
Cool The paint job looks like my 2008 Tricross though. Easy way to tell for sure: do your cross levers have red knobs on them? (If so, 2009)

I also made the 30t-> 26t switch.

i dislike the cold. it was unseasonably cold. and rainy. and that was how it was to be for all but the last day or two of the trip. the rain stopped for maybe an hour or so, and thats when i took that pic.

Shakedown

Picture of my Co-Motion Americano on day two of my shakedown tour. Posing on the Tallulah River in northeast Georgia. Trip was 100% successful (excluding my not-quite-warm-enough sleeping bag).

This was taken several weeks ago when crossing the border between Argentina and Chile. Not the best picture but it was quick for me to find.

forgot to mention that I'm the Trek 520 on the right.

Isn't that a great frame?...especially for the money. I have the same, and like it.

Does anyone know what kind of bag support is installed on the front of this Trek? I'm looking for something simple like that to support a very light bag in the front.

It looks to me like the shifter cable housings are underneath the bag, not some sort of bag support.

It looks like cable housing to me, too. There are a few supports available though- take a look at Velo Orange`s site and see if any of their stuff will work for you. You might also be able to rest a larger bag on one of those Nashbar platforms. But unless you`re planning a custom bag of some kind, you probably won`t need anything extra since most commercially produced handlebar bags include an internal framework if they`re big enough to need one. The smaller ones just have a back plate, which is also included when you buy the bag.

Mine (since I'm not seeing a post by Agentbolt) are Camelback bottles. The plastic ones that don't breed bad stuff.

It was a great night. We actually ended up camping on the bar's patio near the fire pit after last call. Four or five growlers each left us uninterested in riding the additional 10mi to the park.

My dear
Marla showing off her understated elegance in Oregon.

What's crazy about this is that I only paid $2 USD to camp here AND that fee included a hot shower! I LOVE the US National Parks. Most nights the Hiker/Biker sites were full of boorish twentysomethings with loud mouths and too much liquor in their systems but this site was bliss because it was right beside the ocean and its blessed waves!
