Mongolia in August 2005
Hello to all
I've been thinking about cycling for approx 7-10 weeks through Mongolia, and experience the countries diversity in people and environment. I would be interested in any suggestions on routes, time of year and anyone who would be interested in joining me. I have cycled across the US twice, eastern Canada, Belize and Nigeria. I work as a wilderness guide, throughout most of the year, showing kids the great opportunities that the outdoor world holds.
I have been working on the proposed route but would be interested in visiting any area worth taking a look at and only need encouragement to extend the length and mileage of the trip.
About myself: 28 yr old male, living in US, looking for the chance to experience other cultures throughout the world, and what better way than bicycling. Email me at - cmrock@scubadiving.com

Chris - you'll no doubt pick up some useful info from Anne Mustoe's book, Lone Traveller, in which she describes her Mongolian experiences.
