Topeak Disc Mount racks on non-disc bikes?

Hi, I don't know if this is the best place to post this, but I figure y'all have more experience with racks than most on the forums even if I'm not looking to tour currently. I'm curious about topeak racks. In particular 2 of them that I'm looking at (the super tourist or the one that comes with the baby sitter II - not sure if we're going to get a baby seat for the bike or not at this point) are much more easy to find in the disc brake mount versions than the non-disc versions. Do any of you have experience putting one of their disc mount racks on a bike without disc brakes (mine's a mountain bike with canti brakes converted to drop bars for commute/utility status with front and rear racks). Do they still mount ok? Or is there something particular to the disc mechanism/mounting location that they mount to that I wouldn't have. Sorry if this should go somewhere else. Thanks.

I have a Topeak disc-mount Super Tourist DX. It works fine. It gives you plenty of clearance around the rear wheel.

Add: It comes with long bolts that go through the bottom of the rack and get screwed into the dropouts. You can trust that bolt to the rated capacity of the rack (25 kgs or 55 lbs for the DX).

Good to know, thanks. I've been really wanting that one so that I can have the lower pannier bars for more room to put a trunk bag on too, but we just had a baby and if I'm going to be getting a child seat for her to ride along in 6 months or so, there's probably not much point in getting the super tourist now for such limited use.

I wish there was a way to have a baby seat and still have room for my wald folding baskets to be permanently attached back there (the other option is to move those to my front rack and put my front panniers on the back when the seat's not on the rack and I want to make my grocery run. Hmmm, things to consider, but that's getting very far afield from the touring section.
