Notice to all Cyclists On Highway One through Big Sur
Cal Trans has announced that the slide south of Gorda is going to be cleared and the road open by this Friday, June 10th. Enjoy your ride!

Where was this announcement made? The Caltrans website (dot.ca.gov) page for Hwy 1 conditions still says it's closed south of Gorda, with no indication of a reopening date.
