Solo, self-supported touring

I just completed another solo, self-supported tour (posted in a different thread.) So many people asked me about what steps they would need to take to do something similar that I put together my own "How To" guide. Here's the link:

Distance touring carrying 2x CO2 cartridges? I'm not knocking CO2, but Genuine Innovations at least makes a pump that also takes CO2 cartridges. That way if you futz a cartridge you're not sitting by the roadside looking dumb.

I totally agree. That's why I also carry the Topeak Road Morph G pump and use that, whenever possible. I carry the CO2 cartridges but don't really use them.
