Double Chainring Recommendation
I currently have a seven speed 13-30 rear cassette with a double crankset (52-40). I want to continue to use only a double crankset, but I realize that I need to change the cogs for touring. I was originally looking at a 46-34 or 44-30. What are your thoughts?

i am currently running an a 46/34 with a 12-26 in the rear on my commuter. I generally have on problems with the hills when I am running a heavy load (around 40 lbs). As I am running an Lx crank I can always put on the granny gear if necessary.
