Pacific Outdoor Super Rear Pannier Set Black $99 bucks at Nashbar

I just pulled the trigger on these at Nashbar so I could have something to use on my LHT when I get is. I figured I would pass on that they are on-sale, as this price appears to be really nice compared to anywhere else I could find. The reviews seem to be positive as well, so I figured I may as well go for it for the price.

I plan on getting some Lone Peak front panniers to go with them. That will give me "full waterproof" in the back, and breathable storage in the front.

Well, I just got home from my lake place and found them sitting on the front steps. All I can think is that they screwed up with the pricing. They seem really nice, and I like a few of the extras with them, like the mesh bag that you can leave hanging out with wet stuff in it, and the covers that clip on over the roll-top, and the internal back pocket.

I don't think those were meant to be $99 either, nice score! They've strangely vanished from their site. I have a pair of the Lone Peak P150s, they've been great. Got them from thetouringstore.

I plan on giving Wayne a call at the touring store for my front panniers pretty soon. I just couldn't pass up the price on the Pacific Outdoor set, and, after seeing them, I am really glad I didn't.

I had been torn between full-waterproof and breathable, and this will give me a mix of the two. I just wonder how many they sold at $99 bucks a set?!?!?!?
