Northern Michigan fall colors tour Oct.8 thru Oct.16

I am planning a loop tour from the Traverse City area north to the bridge and back from 10/8 thru 10/16.Should I come pretty close to hitting the peak of the fall colors?

I know it's not "right" but try googling "fall color report"

For Wisconsin it's: https://www.travelwisconsin.com/fallc...t.aspx#/Report

If you look across the lake- it's about the same as Door County in WI- and it's five weeks to peak.

I would think you will be very close. Kinda depends on what fall does, but if i was projecting when to go...i would be right around that time also. Hopefully your route will take you up M-119 (the tunnel of trees). Have only ridden in the summer time, but would be absolutely spectacular on a color tour.

You might actually be a lttle late for "peak" colors. That is the week most of us plan ride in the southern areas. Don't worry though, there should still be plenty of color and leaves,it will be nice!
