Thanks for the compliments!
Nathalie and Claude traveled through there in 2007
how did they travel straight through Tibet (Lhasa - Kashgar)? was it recent?

I've been reading your blog in the past, quite a nice story on Tibet! I laughed at the way you passed the border with Nepal, playing the ignorant naive tourist, haha :-)
The dream for me is to pass through China taking the Southern route from Kashgar to Lhasa, coming from Kyrgyzstan, somewhere between October/January 2012. The more I read about it the less I think its possible. Besides, I would want to enter Laos from China, so I wouldn't want to risk getting kicked out of China early.

I like the show it book, and have been thinking about a few things I would like added, though if you dont want to do that I would add them myself.
How about a picture of a puncture repair kit?
Maybe a puncture?
Police? Ambulance?

So Azesty - I think it’s great if you make your own ‘personalized’ show it book for cycling in China.
This looks great. Are you guys always looking for people to submit content?

Happy to hear that you like the show it book. We limited the amount of picture pages in the book so that cyclists wouldn’t have to scroll through too many pages to reach the photo that they want to ‘show’.

There are links in the index / table of contents page where a word – such as ‘toilet’ directly links to the corresponding photo. Unfortunately our smart phone (we bought it in 2010) only displays the “show it” book as a plain pdf without the links.
Good luck with collecting pictures! And yes, the idea for a show it book came about while cycling through China.
