Suspension Seat Post
Just curious. I've been looking at suspension seat posts for my tourer. If you have one I'd be interested in what you think of it. I did a search and found some good comments. It seems the cheap ones stick in winter and mush in summer. Also, I have an older bike with a 26.4mm seat tube. I wondered if a smaller post (25.0-25.4) would work with a shim. Any comments are appreciated. Happy winter riding!

hello
Although it somewhat dampened the harshness of riding on rough terrain and taking out some road vibrations, I was never completely happy with my Rockshox seatpost on my Mtb. IMO, a sprung saddle does a much more effective job. I ride a Brooks Conquest on my Mtb/tourer and does the job quite well.
