My Ride

My first touring/commuter bike. I built this up slowly piece by piece buying parts when I found deals on ebay, online stores and extra parts I already had.

I have been using it to commute 48 km round trip and taking it on a short 900 km tour in the middle of May around lake Ontario.

Of all the bikes I've seen, this is certainly one of them.

That looks great lucky! I am about to do the same thing. Just bought an old mtb yesterday with the help of another BF member facilitating the purchase and plan to do something similar. Your bike looks every bit as good an capable as many far more expensive bikes I've seen. Sounds like you have a nice tour planned too! Have fun!
