Hello to all

I've been thinking about cycling around the Himalya Mts and experience the countries diversity in people and environment. Countries that would be visited include India, Pakistan, China, Tibet and Nepal. The total length of the trip would consist of approx. 6 months, starting in late May or early June, in India.

I would be interested hearing from anyone who is looking to create memories of a lifetime in joining me. I have cycled across the US twice, eastern Canada, Belize and Nigeria. In addition I have spent several months in north-central India and Nepal. I work as a wilderness guide, throughout most of the year, showing kids the great opportunities that the outdoor world holds and am also a bike mechanic.

I have been working on the proposed route but would be interested in visiting any area worth taking a look at and only need encouragement to extend the length and mileage of the trip.

About myself: 28 yr old male, living in US, looking for the chance to experience other cultures throughout the world, and what better way than bicycling. Email me for more information if your interested - cmrock@scubadiving.com

Chris -

Your trip sounds amazing. I've cycled in the Indian Himalaya but would love to go further when I get the chance.

We've got quite a lot of information about the area on our website, which we've just set up. We run self-supported tours in the area, but there's also loads of info for anyone travelling independently.

All the best and good luck!
