There will be pictures, and shipping info ready when it lists on Thursday, 9:30 pacific time.
Here is what I have started for the description (being packed now by LBS)
Hope this helps, and thanks for the interest...
This is an expedition quality touring bike for long distance trips carrying a lot of luggage. This is not for anyone looking for a light fast bike. The frame and racks are CrMo steel. The wheels are hand-built with 40 and 48-spoke deep V rims, with Phil Woods hubs, strong enough for a tandem bicycle.
Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to do any touring, and the bike has less than 1k miles on it so everything is in very good condition. It has been stored indoors when not taken out. The frame is built by Richard Schwinn himself and it was a pleasure working with him on this bike. I am six feet tall and you can tell by my seat height that it is a tight frame for me as desired. The panniers and bags are highest quality water proof bags by Ortlieb, never used. The winner of this bid will be very pleased in the quality of workmanship and expedition quality of the frame, wheels, racks, and panniers/bags. I hope they go on long tours that this bike is yearning for!
Everything has been packaged by my local bike shop, the Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop. If you have questions that require me to have access to the bike, sorry it is sealed and ready to ship immediately. The bike was built in 2006 by Winning Wheels in Pacific Grove, California, and I was very happy with them throughout the build.
Please note: I had a custom crankset made by High Sierra Cycle Center for my short right leg. This bike will ship without cranks, pedals, or chainrings (trust me, you would not want them, as they have an extra pivot on left crank). Plan on installing your own chosen crankarms (touring is usually smaller than typical road), chainrings, and favorite pedals. The bottom bracket stays, which is a Shimano square taper.
Details:
Frame: Waterford Precision T-14, based on 56cm frame, wider forks and stays to allow for wider tires and fenders, dark green.
Wheels: Phil Woods sealed hubs, Velocity Dyad rims, 48-spoke rear, 40-spoke front, Schwalbe Marathon XR 700-40 tires.
Seatpost: Thomson, set back.
Saddle: Brooks Champion B-17, black, with proofide added to top and bottom, softened but not broken in.
Headset: Chris King.
Stem: ViceVersa 90mm +/- with additional shorter stem holding accessory bar below.
Handlebars: Forget the model, but high quality 48cm with gel cushions and new cloth tape.
Shifters: Shimano Ultegra.
Front Derailleur: Shimano Ultegra.
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XTR.
Rear Sprockets: Shimano 9-speed, 11-34T (not sure of intermediate sprockets, but chosen for climbing at time of build).
Brakes: Shimano center pulls.
Racks: Surly.
Panniers: Ortlieb front and rear, similar to Bike-Packer Plus, except with mesh outer pockets.
Bags: Ortlieb large luggage bag, and handlebar bag with sleeves for maps and phone.
Kickstand: Tripod style, aluminum
