Ersatz Camping hammock questions

I like the idea of having a camping hammock like the Hennessy with me on a long tour to make stealth camping easier. I don't want to get a Henn Hammock though for financial and geographical reasons.

I can get a super light tent with built in mosquito netting for 30 bucks here in Germany. My question is how should I go about simulating the rainfly that Henn Hammocks come with?

This is the hammock I would like to get:

Thanks!

By the time you buy the rainfly, you could have what you really want, and not have to lay on the cold, wet and perhaps uneven ground. The Hennessy weighs in at a kilo and can pack up in 30 seconds.

I used to buy cheap clothing and shoes until I noticed I was having to buy new all the time to replace the worn out cheapies. Consider it an investment.

In a hennessey you can sleep allmost flat, not sure the above style will let let you.

It may prove difficult to run a tarp over the above model AND keep wind/rain out. I'd guess on that model you would just run a square tarp in half over the line that seems to be keeping the netting up (like a pup tent without ends)-provided you can keep that line taught. Run guy lines to stakes at the four corners. Similar to the "A" frame setup seen at: https://www.cloudwalkersatpage.com/page027.html

The sides of the tarp shouldn't touch the sleeping area, or condensation (from inside the tarp) could run in/puddle. To keep water from running into the hammock area along the main hammock lines, there are a few tricks. For example you can tie slip knots, leaving a few inches of cord dangling (anything that will allow water to find the easiest route down).
