What tyres for touring on specialized tricross?

Hi,

I picked up a Tricross a few weeks ago to do some touring but it came with road tyres, looking to get some
schwalbe Marathon plus tyres, they seem quite popular, but I have no idea what would be a good size any ideas please?

I have 2500 miles, including a 550 mile tour across Wisconsin, on Continental Top Contact 700x37 on my Tricross. I rode asphalt, chipseal, gravel and limestone trails and have not had a flat. I very highly recommend them. I am not a lightweight rider (6'4", 225#) and enjoy riding off the beaten path.

622-37 is a good size, 35 is Ok too .. Conti's adventure touring tire, the travel contact,
is only made in 2 sizes a 700c 37, and a 26" 559-47/1.75"

I swapped the TC for marathon + on my 26" bike .
have the 406 M+ on my Bi-Fri, too.
