Carribean riding
New to the forum and thought I would share my past rides.
All my rides have been unsupported with 5-8 people. I have ridden from Cancun to Belize twice and Cuba 3 times.
I just got back from a 19 day ride in Cuba starting in Havana and ending up in Cabo San Antonio which is the farthest point west.
I have seen the whole island and highly recommend it as a safe place to ride with lots of vacant roads.
Heading back to Belize in early 2014 starting off in Cancun with more emphasis on Belize this time.

Sounds great. Reminded me of an article about cycling in Cuba that can be found on this magazine site. This link is to the page with articles about cycling. If you scroll down you will find the article on Cuba.

Don't worry be happy ;-)
if you do any write ups about the Cancun-Belize trip, it would be neat reading about it, routes, impressions, etc.
I've never visited Mexico and perhaps one day a bike trip there could be neat.

Here are the blogs from 08 and 09.

https://bikingtobelize09.blogspot.ca/
Due to internet issues in Cuba, we did not script any blogs but will have one for 2014 ride to Belize.

Yeah, Belize is a little gem! Had the most fun biking there in the whole of central America I'd say (Cuba is great too!)... Blog on Biking Belize's Backroads
I highly recommend the back roads between Orange Walk and Belmopan that go through Hill Bank and Indian Creek.
