Nuremberg to Prague
My son and I are in the middle of a ride from The Netherlands, to Nuremberg, to Prague and the Berlin (via Dresden). We're thinking about going from Nuremberg to Prague via bus or train.
Can we take our bikes on the bus or train? Any advice would be appreciated.

Go to db.de, select English as your language, and type in your itinerary. On the next page (or click advanced search), be sure to click "Carriage of Bicycles Required". I see several options of ~5 hours.
Now the problem with German trains this time of year is you may or may not need a reservation, which you generally can't make online for foreign (Czech Republic) travel, AND you often have to make a day in advance (but often not). Luckily you can go to _any_ travel office to make the reservation.
In short, db.de is very helpful, and the travel offices very accommodating.
Happy travels!
