Hi All, I finished my back-up touring bike yesterday. This was a very different bicycle project for me as this is also the beater bike, gravel grinder and loaner so the plan was to have a 100% reliable bike with the least expenditure possible. The only major expense was the inexpensive Sugino Impel 150X Crankset.
The bike itself is a ultra high mileage 1996 T700, mostly still OEM, that I breathed new life into with a major overhaul. Cosmetically it looks good from just about six yards away or further.
