Quick question on Nitto M12 Rack

Does anyone know if this rack can be used on wider forks? Such as a Surly 1x1 fork? or are the cantilever brakes mounts too far apart?

I am thinking that those should be fine. If not take a look at the Salsa Minimalist rack. Assuming you have a hole in the upper fork for a "regular" brake this rack is great.

M12, in specific, is made to use the end of the cantilever brake post, there are others that don't .
