Mirror for bicycle with bar end shifters?
I just picked up my new Jamis Aurora last week. It comes with bar end shifters and Tektro Aero brake levers. I have a Mirrycle mountain bike mirror that fits on the bar end of m old road / touring bike that I really like
Mirrycle does not have a mount for those brake levers like they have for some STI shifter levers.
Other that helmet or sunglasses mounted mirrors, does anyone have recommendations for a decent mirror that stays put?

Myrricle, and they do ship. They have their own bracketry for workarounds.

Take your old mirror. Remove the long mounting bolt and jam nut. Cut off the part that goes into the handlebar. Purchase a 1" I.D. vinyl coated hose clamp. Mount either right at the end of your bar with the flat portion of the clamp to the outside and down so the gap of the clamp goes around the shifter cable housing next to the shifter or mount right at the curve of the bars just above where the shifter housing comes out of the tape. Use a shorter bolt and locknut to tighten the mirror onto the clamp and bars. You may need to add a little more tape under the clamp to get the proper tightness if your bar tape is too thin.

I just got the T4 adapter clamp from Bikemaster, haven't mounted it yet. It will accept a variety of mirrors with a 10mm thread mount. The clamp weighs 36g and fits a 1" bar. It's motorcycle stuff so there are a lot of mirror options. I don't have bar end shifters, but I'm tired of looking down to check the mirror.

I find a Blackburn Road mirror works pretty well for me. It is plastic so it is a bit fragile, but it straps to the left brake lever with a Velcro strap. I think I got mine from Nashbar.

I used to have a Blackburn and I HATED it. No matter how hard I tried to strap the thing down, it would end up moving.

Can't wait to try it! I think is is going to work better than the one one my bar end. In fact I might switch my road bike to this method.

+1 for the "german ultralight mirror" from Rivendell. Very versatile, easy to mount. It stays where you put it and is pretty sturdy.
German Mirror
You can probably find it on amazon as well.

Take-a-look mirror, mounted on the helmet with the helmet adapter, also shown, is our favorite. Very secure, easily adjusted, but stays put.

Took Erick's suggestion and went for a test ride today. Worked perfectly and best of all it was a free solution. Thanks Erick!

That's on the way up to Paradise, a beautiful old lodge on the south side of Mt. Rainier in Washington. It's a long (18 mile) climb on the bike from the south (Longmire) entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park to the lodge, but it is also a fabulously beautiful road, too, and not just for the views of the mountain top.

Edit: Similar to this, but slid down to the end of the bar, right next to the bar end shifter:
