Need help with a group cycling tour across the US in Aug ----cross post!!!

She is Samantha Wu from Taiwan Taipei and I said I would help, this is way!!! out my leauge. Cross post my couchsurfing.org her perma link https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/cyclingirl/ They are working pretty hard.

Greeting from Taiwan to all the cycling lover.
We are a 30 people(some part of our trip is less than 30 people) cycling group from Taiwan. We are planning to cycle across the Northern US from Washington D.C. all the way to Seattlle for 38 days.

We have requested some bus rental companies and travel agencies in the US, but either the cost is beyond our budget or they can not do it for us, so I am writing to ask if there is any one(individual or travel agency)can help us booking one budget 40 passengers charter bus and a 12 passenger van and accommodation along the way. We are not going to cycle all the way(we are planning to cycle around 80~100kms per day plus using bus), so we will hire bus and a van. There are 3 riders in our group are in their age of 60s and 70s, the oldest one is 75 and they have done riding the silk road in China, Tibet through Mid-east Asia to Turkey, Turkey to Europe and Europe cycling tour last year. We will be making a documentary for the cycling tour across the US this time to celebrate who have finished the whole trip and especially for 3 of the elder rider's great accomplishment.

I will send you our itinerary(cycling route)if you can help. Any of you are also welcome to join us for the whole/part of cycling trip. Here is my email at samantha1682004@yahoo.com

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Samantha

I can't help you with the bus arrangements but I would like to make the suggestion that you look at the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Trails for an excellent end to your trip in DC. The trail starts here in Pittsburgh, PA and as if by magic makes it's way somehow through some of the steepest mountains in the US, all on a bike trail that us mostly flat.

Let me know if you need some help here at the Pittsburgh end of the trail. I would be happy to provide advice or show people around. Let me know.

I think you group would really enjoy this trail. A beautiful, low stress ride after a long journey across the country.

Actually I went ahead and PMed Samantha. This sounds like an exciting trip but sadly maybe a bit of impossible one considering the parameters. I really hope she can pull it off.
