I did a favor for a friend that owns a bike shop and he gave me a steal of a deal on my AWOL. I've used it for an overnight "adventure tour" and was very pleased at how it handled everything. I use it more for exploring local trails than a true touring bike so if your interests are in offroad touring, this bike will handle it.
