this is a tent i can use to other things than touring also. Hopefully it will fit in the framebag?
Those sort of tents are usually very well made and offer great protection.....however, 2kg is quite heavy and the volume of that tent will be a big problem. If you can split it between you and your companions it might work. But people looking to save weight and volume on a shelter will usually go with a hammock, a bivy or a single walled lightweight tent like these.

I don't know if things have improved, but weigh a tent to see if it really weighs what they say. Of course tents are pretty transparent, they are made out of similar materials, you can't hide too much. But when I was in the backpacking retail industry, the tent weights were fantasy. Today people are a lot more weight conscious and likely to blog the world.

All that said, a really small tent, is too high a price to pay. 1 pound can make a huge difference and make your experience a whole lot better. I had a great little MSR tent, that was just barely OK, but it required one to lie down on the ground an roll horizontally into the space. Or crab sideways. Try doing that when it is pouring with rain. One could reach gear stowed at one's feet, which was about the only place to put stuff, etc...

Some of this stuff is a worse deal when you are tall and wide. I am 73.5 inches, and 22 inches across the shoulders. It might be a whole different deal at 68 inches and 140#
