When I was racing and promoting it was a second full time job. I probably haven't been on the track in 6 months, but I'm still riding almost every day and putting in ~15-20 hours a week on the bike. I keep meaning to start heading down for intervals (I still have a locker with my bike in it there) but I have a lot of other things going on, too, and it's a lot of time driving back and forth-- I got burned out on the drive when I ended up having to commute to Manhattan Beach for work for a couple years, which seemed like it would give me more time on the track, but at rush hour it's not much shorter from there to Carson than from Pasadena to Carson.

I'm at 20hrs a week if drive to the track on Tuesdays and Thursday's (can knock 6hrs a week off if I do those on the Ergo) That also assumes pretty quick pace through my Gym/Rollers on M/W/F.. And a 2.5hr road ride plus drive time on Saturday.
