What size bowling ball do you prefer?
What color is your refrigerator?
On a scale of 1-10, how uncomfortable would you be if a male nurse gave you a sponge bath?
Not creepin' or anything...>_>

These are seven 45lbs plates plus a 25lb plate on each side:
3 sets of 10 during my strength building phase.
Max cadence is like over 220 on the rollers. 160 (depending on gearing) on the track.
But, I'm heavy though. So, it's the whole power/weight ratio that has to be considered, too.

- I've been to Masters Nationals twice (hung out with TT there) and Elite Nationals once (I sucked balls there). I went more for the experience than expecting to do well. I have to work out the kinks of "getting up" for big events. The only way to do that is to go to as many big events as possible and get used to being there. Hopefully one day I'll relax and be awesome. I'm still (hopefully) getting faster. But, we'll see if I actually get faster. I'm OK at Team Sprint.

Yes. But you'll need a time machine...and making that would be the easy part. Picking your parents and getting them to hookup to get the right gene combination and the training would be the harder parts.

Not really. Assuming that the leg press machine is on a 45 degree slope, Carleton is pressing about 480 lbs. Even assuming the machine is on a steeper slope, the weight being pressed is less than 600 lbs, which is not that extraordinary for the leg press. When I do 3 x 10 leg presses, I use 420 lbs, and I'm about 100 lbs lighter than Carleton. I'm not saying there is anything substandard about Carleton's workout, just that moving a lot of weight with the strongest muscles in your body looks impressive, but is not the reason why a track sprinter is successful in competition.

The press is 45 degrees. Multiply the weight by 0.71 to get the amount you are lifting if it were a vertical press or squat.
