Last call for our big reopening tonight!
Special appearances by Pat McDonough and the Mayor of Northbrook.
Attendance estimates are at 1000 people.
Ribbon cutting ceremony and new Hall of Fame inductions.
Free water bottles to the first 200 people to arrive.
New high school league championship race as well as full womens' and juniors' fields. Race entry fees are waived on opening night (bring $2 for insurance and $5 for a race number along with your USAC license).

Will I see you there? There won't be another opening night...

edit: this might help- Ed Rudolph Velodrome in Northbrook

good luck with the opening. Seems that you guys will have a good time. need to stop by your shop when I visit it with the Mayor 165!

Guys go support the event the more, the better, the longer we have it.

Cool! Do you want to race while you're here?
At Northbrook- we have a cat 3/4 Madison training night scheduled for Monday 11 July with a 3/4 race that Thursday night, along with the regular schedule...There's a big cat 4/5 tournament that Friday as well.
The following weekend (23-24 July)- Kenosha has a two day tournament...

Darn. Can't make it tonight. But I will definately be at the next training night. FYI Yojimblab, a little filing and the MKS tensioner fits perfect now. Thanks!

So that really works? Not that I'm having slippage issues with the Phils on the beefy Soma dropouts but...

Don't think I'll be able to make it out tonight - I separated my collarbone (boo hoo) in yet another, albeit smaller, accident - damn silly drivers. Hopefully I'll be back in action in 1-3 weeks.

Same day we picked up the Surly though not with the Surly but later.

let me know what size frame you ride - I have a spare or two and can loan it out to you during your visit.

Good times!
Sorry we missed so many of you... But I recognozed quite a few of our brothers and sisters, either on the track or in the stands.
I think we had 80 people registered for the races... 5 in the high school race, 11 Juniors, 12 women, about 40 cat 4s, 20(?) cat 3s, and 16 cat1/2s. (some individuals raced in multiple fields) No crashes. Free cake and juice to all. So, what was missing?
Well, I saw Crusty looking the other direction when he rode by the shop while we were packing the van... You'll be out next week. Right? And I didn't make it onto the track either- got caught up with helping with registration and the officials.

Good times! See you next week?
...and Kenosha next Tuesday!
