Awesome Velodrome, Santo Domingo, DR

Just thought I would share this with you. This is a world class facility in Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic, where i am currently living. Santo Domingo held the 2003 Pan American Games. There is a cool group of cats who ride down here. Hotter than hell on the track during the day, but night rides are awesome (very cool).

Keep Ridin

Wow! That is so nice. Definitely something that would steal me away for hours at a time, with no complaints. It would be difficult for me to leave such a place.

How often do you get out there?

I have only been twice... it is a treasure, you're right, time just flies there. I am told that everyone rides pretty much every night M-F. I plan on going pretty much Monday to Friday.

It is located in the Centro Olimipico or the Olympic Park where all the national teams, track and field, volley ball, basketball, etc... pratice M-F. Itīs pretty low key though. People are friendly.

You are welcome for the photos Absenter, Your site is awesome!, nice work, I am a painter, but I also have been shooting photos from around 12 years of age. I also worked at one time for a black and white vintage photo gallery in San Francisco, cool stuff!
