does anyone know how much it cost to build a velodrome?

i was thinking if i ever won the megamillion i would have a velodrome built with a soccer/football field in it for for fun but does anyone know around how much one costs to build from scratch?

That's going to be one big track

Use the search function. This has been discussed before, namely the getting a velodrome in DC thread.

look up Dale Hughes of the Wolverines in Michigan. He has built for the US plenty of times and Van Vanderne of Vander dome.

Building it is the easy part, keeping it open (insurance, electricity (lights), any salaries, insurance, physical maintenance, and did I mention insurance?) will be the challenge.

Exactly. That's why a lot are now portable or pulled down and replaced with other buildings after major meets.

The ADT Home Depot velodrome in Carson was I think 15 million...It says on their site somewhere. Sweet track but the pine makes my eyes stonner red.
