I've seen a Carbon Fibre "Gan Well" Keirin bike but didn't take a photo. Bummer.

So desu ne. Watashi no jinsei "bees knees desu"
Here in Japan I think you would be pushing poo poo up hill if you wanted CF to infiltrate the Keirin Scene. I was very surprised to see the Gan Well. Whilst I thought it looked beautiful (plain black and white) it was owed by just an amateur at the track. The NJS bikes still rule supreme, but I think steel and carbon can live in harmony on the Keirin Track. My Orbea (road bike) felt great on the track, but unfortunately my times were sh*t house.

Lots. Mostly steel. Mostly heavy. Mostly geared, and very low, at that.

I talked with a woman who sold this bike to this dude, and she said it was too flexy for her, so she got a Corima. Said it was the stiffest bike ever. I used to have one of those ICE frames (roadie converted to fixed) and I thought it was pretty dang stiff. She musta been a MONSTER on the track.

From cyclingnews at the Sydney Australia bike show this week:

"Bridgestone isn't a new name to bikes - US readers with long memories will recall the Bridgestone road and mountain bikes of the late 80s and early 90s when the company's iconoclastic US marketing director Grant Petersen came up with some extremely well thought-out bikes that are still cult items among those lucky enough to have them.

The Bridgestone name is back - in Australia at least - on bikes that used to be stickered 'Anchor'. Bridgestone's Kouji Yoshi of new Bridgestone importer Japan Outdoor Action admitted that naming a bike after a very heavy lump of metal intended to stop a boat wasn't terrific marketing.

Yoshi has been in Australia for several weeks, looking after three Japanese teams at the Herald-Sun Tour and plans to move here permanently from December. He doesn't think he'll be riding Bridgestone's gorgeous carbon track bike at the Tasmanian Carnivals this year though - not enough time to train in between being a businessman and team manager!"

Is this the same frame, or evolved from it?

    Steve.
The PMH 7 uses typical run of the mill carbon fiber, whereas the PHM 9 uses high modulus carbon fiber, but the same molds are used to construct both models.

It is indeed a BT, paint was done by myself. Mostly airbrush with some fine handbrush details. This is the only close up I have one hand at the moment. Bike's at home while I'm at school, although I do have my steel Look with me and some rollers in my dorm room, lol.

That's it. I'm painting my own bikes from now on!
That is one sweet ride...you have no fear if you run that baby at the velodrome! That's the spirit, bikes are for ridin' sculptures in motion, not museum relics!

I've found what appears to be a Japanese company selling the Bridgestone/Anchor PHM9 frame, 315000 yen.

Or 265,000 yen for the PHM7.

    315,000 yen = $2520 USD

It says the prices include tax.

Babelfish mangles it, but it's readable:

Here is a Calfee Luna Fixie. Unfortunately it has cross geometry and a cross fork. So the wheelbase is long and the angles are slack. It is really built for the street, but it does ok on the track. It is really, really light and strong, but it doesn't handle properly. I'll put a track fork on it next spring, so that will help some. I'd love to have Craig build me a proper track bike (I got this used on ebay) but he wants 3 grand...probably in two years I'll have him do that. Check www.calfeedesign.com on sponsored riders page for pics of a couple purpose built track machines that he has done...he'll even make you a Bamboo one if you like!
