NYC Track shops

Can anyone recommend an LBS in NYC that stocks track specific bikes?

Thanks

Trackstar, Kingkog, Bikeworks (bikecult.com), Bicycle Station (parts or orders). Google them.

I don't know if I would recommend them, but R&A Cycles in Brooklyn sells track racing stuff, and has lots of stuff in stock. Call them before you go over - it was my experience that they were nice over the phone, kind of jerky in person.

While R+A can be pretty pricey on new framesets and complete bikes (since their main business is super-high end dream bikes...they actually SOLD that Look track frame to someone!), they have tons of old stock if you're willing to pester them, and they're pretty competitive on accessories, disposable stuff like tires/chains/etcetera, and actually have good prices on clothes and shoes, so I wouldn't totally dismiss them. The service can be iffy depending on who you talk to, but Felix (who's their fitter) is a cool guy and extremely helpful.

Right. Not like Trackstar or KingKog. Puh-lease. Find "track" on any sales/marketing info, and you'll be instantly saddled with a nice value-added/consumption tax. They're ALLL fricking pricey in this town. You want cheap? Move to Iowa.
