August 26-27, Kissena Velodrome NYC: You Are Invited!

This is the third and final leg of the Velo City Tour 2006. We raced in Los Angeles in June, Chicago in July and now me and my crew are turning it out on our home turf!

I am talking about two days of training and racing your track legal bike at Kissena Velodrome. This is a FREE event.

If you have zero track experience, it's time to learn.

All levels and styles are welcome, bring the kids! We are working on a DJ and some Food for Sunday(No Promises!).

Check out the schedule here:
http://cyclehawk.com/velocity/nycschedule.php

Saturday is individual time trials and matched sprints. Tons of fun and a good chance to warm up.

Saturday Nite is Gold Sprints in Brooklyn, come on out to challenge Felipe and the clock. Or just drink beer and yell at your friends as they kill it for 500 meters.

Sunday is more pack racing and team events (teams of three). Also Awards and more!

There will be group rides and alleycats this weekend as well.

If you have a minute, register on line and post a picture:

If you are currently employed as a bicycle messenger take a shot at r/t airfare to Sydney, Australia for the 14th Annual Cycle Messenger World Championships- http://www.sydbma.org/

Hope to see you there!!

Thanks to all who came out!! We were lucky to get a full day in on Saturday. Sunday rained, we BBQ'd, did awards and other hijinks.
