By the way, when your bars are wrapped up that high, you don't need a top tube protector. So, if you want a cleaner look, you can remove that.

What disc is that?

HED Disk
Zipp 1080 Front

Due to back issues, I change my bars and fit now and then and just leave the wrap on the tube since the bars might get changed or moved around.

Borrowing another bike! This time on a bike that fits a little better and holds my weight a little better.

Picked up an incredible deal on this Pro-Lite Trentino frame. Sometimes its useful to ride an unusual size! And its a better fit, and stiffer frame, than my giant.

New shoes.

I've chartered shuttles form SF -> SJ (Hellyer) to get as many club members their 3 beginner sessions as possible over 3 weekends in October. Stoked!

(disregard the chain slack, hastily put on the wheels for the photo op - the light was fading)

My big steel track ride. It's given me a lot of laps so far, looking forward to next Aussie winter season to get out again. First wheels I actually put together myself.

i don't think i'll be there every race night like i did last year... i'm going to race on a steel bike if i can find one. those are campagnolo pista cranks anodized black.

i really want to work on my sprint though.

Why build the Anchor then buy another bike to race? Am I missing something?
