I posted this in the fg/ss thread, too, but it's all track:
'85 or '86 Miyata Pista, bought new, mothballed almost since new. All stock, and cleaning up quite nicely. Has maybe ten miles on it, never seen a track. Yet. Have it stripped down right now, overhaulin', gonna take it to Trexlertown this summer. Will post a better picture when the work's complete...

My '71 Raleigh Pro Track. Wish it fit me but the bike will give me the money to build up a new one when I sell it. But it's still a sweet bike and pretty rare.

Sorry dude, but if that bike fits you and you're selling it, then you're a goddamn fool.

that berretto is very cool! i really love the look of the aero-type tubing, and the paint is great. i have a friend who has a romic with full ovalized tubing and its absolutely stunning.
is your berretto tig welded? do you know what year it was produced? it strikes me as fairly modern.
really great bike.

Thanks goldenskeletons,
I think its a late 80's frame and it is lugged. Some of the lugs have been modified by the builder to achieve the lo pro shape. The clearances are really tight but it is quite predictable and stable to ride. The front forks are quite fine which worries me a bit but there have been no dramas yet. Infact the forks seem pretty stiff. I suppose it was only meant to follow the bottom line on the track.
I think the paint scheme and decals work well together yet it is quite a simple scheme.
Thanks,
Gary.

My Bareknuckle; way too nicely outfitted considering the abilities of the rider. Think I'm going to ditch the NR/GL280+330 tubular wheelset and just ride my DA/OP clinchers on the track to save a little bit of hassle and they just seem to roll better.

skyeC, what kind of tubular tires are you riding on?
i had a set of campy record wheels last season and i regret not dropping the money on a nicer set of tires for them.
the bareknuckle looks like its ready to rock though. nice job with the build!

I have Gatorskin Sprinters and they've worked out fine, I'll probably end up keeping these wheels for the track because otherwise, I'm swapping tires instead of a wheelset and that's way too much of a pain every time I want to get some track time in.
When these get worn down, I'm thinking about those Vittoria Pista tires, they look like they'd work out well.
I really do love this bike, it gives me a lot of confidence and lets me just work on being a better rider... which takes a long time!

So cool. I am looking for that bicycle for my little brother.Like this:
Because, I think the below 21 LED Bike Bicycle Front Light from https://www.my-batteries.net/light/21...rear-light.htm would be better for this.

Scientist, why don't you edit your post and hit "enter" a couple of times between each pic? It will make viewing your pics sooooo much easier for everyone.

Tell me about these tires, are they deflated or about 14mm wide??
