Track pursuit/aerobars
What bars are used for pursuits and long timed events? I'm looking for a cheap setup but not cheap in quality. Do people ever use just a standard clip-on aerobar and put it on their drop bars? Or is that entirely too amateur?
I've also been thinking about putting clip-on aero bars on my road fixed gear for training. Has anyone used the Vision TT Mini Clip-on bars?

They're really short, so I'm not so sure about them, but I can get them for under $40. I'm thinking I should get a standard size. Any ideas?

yes people do that. I would suggest getting normal ones rather than then those though. I bet you can find them for close to that price.
If you are going to be using the same stem and bars something where the bars and armrests can adjust forward and back is probably worthwhile.
Since there is no brake and shifter crap to mess with most just have separate base bars and often a stem. But you can get away will less if you're on a budget
