    It depends on what your preferences are.
    Some like low cadences and building momentum but being slow off the line.
    Some like high cadence and being quick off the line and be more about mainaining high speed than building more and more

    are you referring to men's 1000m or flying 200m?

    160-165 rpm is world class for the big men.
