What Do You Guys Train On; Fixed/SS or Geared Bikes?

I'm curious what you guys train on. For the amateur like me, it seems like riding fixed/SS on the street would be financially advantageous. But road bikes let you try different gearing, which I would be useful I imagine.

So...What do you guys do?

I mostly train on a road bike. Occasionally I'll go on training rides on the track bike and when I'm training at the track obviously I'm on a track bike.

I ride about 50/50 on the road and track. The road riding is all on a conventional road bike, track all on track bike. Intervals are pretty much all on the track, long rides are on the road.
Track - the other off-road

I went FG on the road in winter only. I started before I became a trackie--in New Hampshire where I grew up, the salt on the roads could destroy a couple derailleurs per winter. 63" or smaller, all about the pedal stroke.

My fixie always has fenders and usually lights. It got put away in early March when I was racing, nowadays I ride it through mid-April.

Bitingduck's 50/50 mix worked for me from April through August.
