Any info on Cherubim track frame ??
I just purchased a Cherubim track bike from japan, it looks alot like the bike below except it is all chrome and just has the C in the Head tube.

The frame i purchased has a little a bit of rust on the fork, would anyone recommend rechroming? Does anyone have any info on these bikes? thanks in advanced.

The frame you purchased was probably made by Hitoshi Konno - the founder of the company. Konno's frames have an excellent reputation and were used by many Japanese riders in the 1972 Olympics.
Konno made an awesome TT bike that looks remarkably like the Giant used by the Columbia team in the TT stage of the Tour de France - but Konno beat them by about 35 years!
I met Hitoshi's son Shinichi at the Tokyo Cycle Show some years back. A nice guy. He now runs the shop and makes the frames. The Uli Master was on display at the Tokyo Cycle Show last year - it might be the most beautiful bicycle I have ever seen.
Re the chrome - I would expect you can polish it out with Autsol: https://www.mibo-motoparts.de/mibotec...sol_MP_LRG.jpg

i got this from a person i know in japan, i actually purchased 3 different bicycles. A vivalo a Eimei and this cheribum track frame. All the bikes are NJS certified except for the cheribum because back then it didnt exist... Im wondering how much this track frame is worth and if it would be worth it to build it to show quality.

Just out of interest, is there a BIA stamp on your Cherubim?
By the way, the guys at Cherubim speak a bit of English, so I'm sure if you emailed them with a photo of your frame they'd be interested in it, and might be able to give you some information.
