    Chain lube

    Hey gang,

Silly question for you. What do you use to lube your chains? Typical light oil (sewing machine oil is my current...)? Knowing that you don't ride in the crud and wet on a track and I only use the tracks stuff on the track (other gear for fixed road training..) I figure the long lasting stuff is off limits and gets all over your hands when changing gears.

    Thanks,

    Rob

I tried Rock n Roll lube and really like it.
After all of the things I have done, I hate myself for what i have become.

#1 on T9. I clean my chain every 300 miles or so (depending on the rain, grit) and use T9. It penetrates very well. The chain, shifting is really quiet.

I used whatever I had. With a good quality chain (Regina CX back then, Izumi V these days) it hardly seemed to matter. TriFlow, Phil Wood, Hoppe's gun oil, 10w-30...
