National Championship Series dates for 2011

The dates for the American Track Racing Association(ATRA) National Championship Series have been finalized for 2011. First race is in 2 months, so get out there and practice!

Maybe this will bring us all a little closer together and help promote the sport in the US. ATRA has a good point when they say: "Track racing in the US of recent years has seen a myriad of different races and small regional series operating independently and the goal of ATRA's NCS is to bring all of those events to a national stage and highlight some of the great work being done a ATRA's member velodromes around the country."

I guess you would have to ask the San Diego guys why they didn't get with the program. They appear to be involved, the April Swap meet is listed on thethe calendar.

The race last weekend was in Blaine, MN. looks to be a good event. $5,000 in cash prizes helps to inspire people! ;-)
